Stand Easy at Neptune

Residents at Neptune Court were treated to a special ‘Sailors Christmas Standeasy’ on Monday 17 December.

Organised by Lieutenant Kelly Jenkins-Hill, an Agamemnon Trustee who is currently on maternity leave from the Royal Navy, the event saw naval personnel from HM Naval Base Portsmouth sharing mince pies and other seasonal fare with the residents, many of whom had served in the Royal Navy, WRNS and QARNNS.

The morning was a wonderful way to unite young and old, who were able to share stories and their service experiences, and was part of a series of similar events.
