Eliza Mackenzie Court opens

We are very pleased to announce that Eliza Mackenzie Court was handed over to the Association and opened on Wednesday the 14th May.

The building is very impressive and has been completed to a high standard and level of quality.

We currently have many new tenants moving into their new apartments and we will add more photos of our new building to this web site very soon.

Peter Tidd retires from Agamemnon

Friday May 30 was Peter’s last day in the office as the association’s long serving CEO.

Peter worked for Agamemnon for over 20 years, firstly as our secretary, and latterly as our Chief Executive, successfully and consistently steering us in the right direction.

Having overseen many significant projects and developments Peter finessed the many changes in legislation and regulation affecting our organisation, and ensured our ongoing commitment to providing high quality housing.

Peter’s knowledge and energy will be sorely missed. And it feels somewhat symbolic that the completion of our Eliza Mackenzie Court only days before his final departure, should coincide with a well earned and thoroughly deserved retirement.

Tom Morton, our Chairman, thanked Peter on behalf of the entire Board and its many former Chairmen and Members for the more than twenty years of service he has given to us.

We all wish Peter and his partner Julie a very long, happy and contented retirement.

At his final board meeting Peter was presented with a Tantalus, along with bottles of the appropriate liquids, from all the trustees.
